Juanita Wagner Obituary
Juanita Wagner (Henderson), affectionately known as "Juan", was born on August 4, 1939, in Birmingham, Alabama. She was the only child of the late Joe and Mamie Henderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wagner, and her son, Kenneth Alexander. Also, preceding her in death are Jacquan Randy Mullins and Danica Marie Cunningham.
Juanita accepted Christ at an early age and remained a faithful believer throughout her life. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 10:30 AM at The Alois Alzheimer Center.
In 1959, Juanita moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, where she worked as a waitress/server at the Wheel Café. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her best friend, Ms. Alice Owens, was like a sister, and the two were inseparable.
Juanita loved to cook and host gatherings on weekends. Her daughter, Regina, would often stand by her side in the kitchen, learning her recipes. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Gloria (George) Johnson, Regina Delores Alexander, and one son, Ronald Alexander. Additionally, she leaves behind her grandchildren: Tawanda Rollins, DeShon Clark, GlenAndre Rollins, Derrick Johnson, Elishesia Alexander, Kimberly Alexander, and Mary McClendon.
Juanita was also blessed with 24 great-grandchildren and a host of great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the Walker Walnut Hills, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
