Luisa Reyes

Luisa Reyes, 61, of Petersburg, Kentucky, passed away on May 13, 2025. Born on June 21, 1963, in Havana, Cuba, Luisa brought joy, laughter, and a fierce love wherever she went.
A passionate fan of '80s classic rock, Luisa was thrilled whenever she was able to attend a live concert-something she dedicated as much time to as possible. Ever resourceful, she even took security jobs in her younger years just to be closer to the music she loved. Her favorite band, Cinderella, was more than a soundtrack to her life; she proudly saw them live over a dozen times.
Luisa was a beloved fixture in her community, working at Raising Cane's in Florence, Kentucky since the opening of the business. Her warmth and humor made her a friend to coworkers and customers alike at any job she ever had.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Shane Devlin; her beloved son, Dakota Devlin; her sister, Nilda Rahman; and her cherished niece, Adlin Sukhwani. Luisa also leaves behind her two treasured cats, Hanson and Hemmingway. She was preceded in death by her parents, Domingo and Herminia (Izquierdo) Reyes, and her brother, Gerardo Paz.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Linnemann Funeral Homes -Burlington Location (1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005). Visitation will take place from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., with words of remembrance to follow.
Luisa's love for music, her vibrant and loudly passionate spirit, and her unwavering devotion to those she loved will continue to echo in the hearts of all who knew her.
