Patricia A. Cordas

Patricia A. Cordas, age 81, of Union, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025. It is with heavy hearts that we announce her passing, as Patricia's life was marked by her deep love for her family, faith, and friends. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Patricia lived a life full of love, joy, and a spirit of generosity. She was a longtime member of St. Timothy Catholic Church and an active participant in numerous community organizations, including the Five Seasons Sports Club, the Union Garden Club, the Lovely Ladies Literacy Society, and her Bunco group. Patricia was passionate about yoga, enjoyed sharing a chilled glass of Chardonnay, and could often be found challenging friends and family to a game of Scrabble at the lake. Above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and showering affection on her grandchildren. Known for her warmth, laughter, and exceptional cooking, Patricia had an incredible gift for making everyone feel welcome. Her generous spirit touched all who knew her, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to be in her company. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Stella Rinehold; her in-laws, John and Frances Cordas; her brother, George Rinehold; and her beloved grandchildren, Cory and Gunner Garrison. Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, James Cordas; her children, Debbie (Jeff) Garrison, David (Cheryl) Cordas, and Dawn (Jerry) Walker; her adored grandchildren, Tyler (Evan), Gabrielle, Matthew, Austin (Jayla), and Katelyn; and her sister, Donna Horn. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Timothy Catholic Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Patricia's name to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
