Steven Peck Obituary

Steven "Steve" Peck passed on July 8, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on December 20, 1949, to the late James and LaVerne (Hahn) Peck, Steve served in the United States Navy before pursuing his education and career. He earned a master's degree in graphic design from the University of Cincinnati and later built a professional life in California, working as a store planner for Dillard's and as a florist at Swan. Steve had a deep love for art and design, which influenced both his work and his way of seeing the world. He also had a strong connection to nature and enjoyed feeding the birds and spending time outdoors. Above all, he was devoted to his dogs, Abraham and Jackson-they were his world and a constant source of companionship and joy. He is survived by his sister, Jamie (Thomas) Stith; nephews Derek Stith and Darin Peck; great-nephews Alex, Adam, and Austin; and many other loved family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Gregory Peck; and his beloved dogs, Abraham and Jackson. A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to local animal shelters in Steve's memory.
