Yvonne Shouse Obituary

Yvonne (Stacy) Shouse, 84, of Burlington, passed away Thursday evening, December 19, 2024, at her home. 

Yvonne was born on April 8, 1940, in Hazard, Kentucky to Claude and Zona (Combs) Stacy. She worked alongside her late husband, James Shouse, running the family business and was a homemaker. A member of the Jehovah Witnesses, she enjoyed reading in her spare time. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James in 1993; a great grandchild, Courtney Eggleston; her parents, Claude and Zona Stacy; and a brother, Lonnie Stacy. 

Survivors include her daughters, Yvonne (Mike) Boyd and Linda (Larry Fight) Meredith; sons, Craig (Ann) Shouse and Justin “Kelly” Shouse; sisters, Jan (Ken) Wells and Vicky (Mike) Bell; brother, Donnie (Brenda) Stacy; ten grandchildren, Michelle, Shanna, Lara, Chandra, Matthew, Benjamin, Jamie, Alan, Kellie and Hayley; 16 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. 

Visitation is from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 pm Friday, December 27, 2024, at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral services to immediately follow at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow in Hebron Lutheran Cemetery, Hebron.
