CHARLOTTE WETRICH
April 30, 1959 - September 10, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Charlotte Ann Wetrich, a beloved mother, nanny, nana, sister, partner, friend and so much more. Charlotte fought a courageous battle with cancer, showing strength and grace until the very end.
Charlotte Ann Wetrich, 66, passed away at her home Wednesday, September 10, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on April 30, 1959, in Brookfield, Mo., to Doyce and Wilma (McCollum) Clubine.
Charlotte dedicated her life to caring for others through her work in in-home service and caretaker roles, where her compassion and kindness touched countless lives. To know Charlotte was to love her. She had a gift for making people feel seen and cherished, and her presence brought warmth to every room she entered.
She found joy in the simple pleasures of lifespending time with her family, shopping, visiting her favorite place, the beach, and creating memories with those she loved most.
Charlotte is survived by her children: Katara (Wes) Beal of Brookfield, Kristen (Gerry) Bragg of Brookfield, and Ryan Craig of Jefferson City; her grandchildren: Sierra (Blake) James of Columbia, Andrew (Anna) Hanson of Brookfield, Colbie (Jacob) Greenwood of Brookfield, Britney of Jefferson City, and Ashley (Chris) Schroer of Jefferson City; her great-grandchildren: Jaxson Hanson and Hardin Greenwood; her significant other, Bud Bradbury of Brookfield; and her sisters, Sharron (Cecil) Trimm of Alabama and Marilyn (Jerry) Roush of Iowa. She is also survived by many other family members who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her sister Carolyn Miller, her brother Dennis Clubine and a niece Kris Elliott.
Her love and light will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A celebration of life, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember her remarkable spirit, was held Monday, September 15, 2025, at 12 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor David Blakely officiating. The family received friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
