Dear Sylvia and Rosy,
I am writing with distressing tardiness to say how saddened I am to read of Peter's death. You may remember, we were neighbours in Santa Fe; in fact, Pat and Peter were our best friends there.
I have been living in France since 2006, in a hilltop village in Provence. I kept in touch with Peter for some years, but then did not hear from him any more. It seemed reasonable to suppose he had died. But it only occurred to me recently--with my increased, if belated mastery of the internet, and a better computer--that I might find an answer online. Indeed I did, just now. And you may never even receive this note.
My parents, of course, died before I left NM. We did so very much appreciate Pat and Peter's friendship and I shall remember those years with great fondness.
I hope your own lives are going well.
With love,
Ching (Camille) Naish
