GARRETT J. His Legacy… Age 42, passed away June 17, 2016. He was born on June 21, 1973, in Pontiac, Michigan to Robert William Sharp and Sandra Marie (Banks) Sharp. Garrett married the love of his life, Tennille (Tenaglia) Sharp, on April 28, 2001, in Charlestown, Massachusetts. He was a resident of Brighton, Michigan for 13 years. Garrett's wife and children were his #1 priority. He enjoyed the outdoors, including camping, boating, hunting, swimming, biking, and simply enjoying being on the water.
His Family… Garrett will be missed by his wife, Tennille Sharp; his children, Sophia, Annabelle, Garrett Jr., and Viola; his mother, Sandra Sharp and friend, Russ Cesarz; step-siblings, Jarod (Mary) Muscott, Marissa Witford; step-mother, Denise Caverly; aunt, Jeanne Banks; uncle, Gary Banks; and uncle, Jim Sharp; cousin, A.J. (Kirk) Evenson; nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by several family members.
His Farewell… Garrett's family and friends will gather 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. His Community Farewell will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. (9:30 a.m. Gathering) with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 711 Ricket Road, Brighton, Michigan. Fr. Vince Richardson will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Garrett and the entire Sharp family were so kind and loving to our family. He was such a fun and kind nan and took our kids home from soccer so many times. I am so saddened for Tenille and her children. Faith and friends will hold their hands through this tragedy. The Wisner family will say prayers. Love, Kris, owen, audrey, and adam .,...glen too.

Garrett, I remember you and I walking together each morning to get on the school bus. I knew you were a special child and would grow up to be a wonderful person. Each morning, as we walked together, you would say Miss Freddie I have learned a new word out of the encyclopedia today and each morning you would tell me your new word of the day. We are so saddened to hear of Garrett's passing. He and our son, Brad, became friends in 1981 when we moved to Hartland Shores. Garrett and his mom were some of the first people we met and the boys remained friends throughout grade school. We looked forward to him bringing his children to our door every Halloween and we were on the receiving end of a great big hug from Garrett! We send our heartfelt sympathy to all his family.
