Janice Mitchell Obituary
Howell - Janice Marie Mitchell, age 82 of Howell, passed away while surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 8, 2019. She was born August 26, 1936 in Two Rivers, Wisconsin to Frank and Margaret (Funk) Schepper. Janice married James E. Mitchell in Two Rivers, WI on July 30, 1955. Janice has been a resident of Livingston County for the past 32 years where she had a true passion for her antiques and owned several antique businesses. Janice enjoyed vacation cruises, trips to the casino but especially her time up North in Sugar Springs, Michigan. She is survived by her beloved husband James E. Mitchell; daughters, Judith Moran and Joan Watkins; son, James M. (Debra) Mitchell; grandchildren, Jill (Jeremy) Gagnon, Anthony (Gladys) Moran, Sarah Taylor, Rebecca (Matthew) Compton, Kristina Kasenow, David Watkins, Amanda (Scott) Hall, James M. Mitchell, Jr., Meleah (Corey) Doub, Shauna Mitchell and Tara Mitchell; great grandchildren, Kendall, Mitchell, Campbell, Mawell, Rain, Cassidy, Reese, Autumn, Alaina, Xavier and Zander; sisters, Virginia and Elizabeth, and her loving dog Sassy. A private funeral gathering will be held with interment following at Howell Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan or American Diabetes Association.
