Robert Lechner Obituary
Royal Oak - age 88, passed away peacefully in Royal Oak, Michigan on February 28th, 2018.
Robert married Evangeline (Benefiel) Lechner on September 24, 1949. Robert and Evangeline have been residents of Royal Oak for 56 years where they raised their family. He is survived by his wife, 12 children and their spouses, 19 grandchildren along with many great grandchildren. Robert was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 16, 1929. He was a proud truck driver for Vernors for 29 years. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed gardening, fishing, collecting rocks and spending time with his family.
Robert will be missed by his Royal Oak neighbors in which he shared mutual support and friendship.
A local memorial gathering is planned to celebrate his life.
