Rodger Pedigo Obituary
Hartland - January 29, 2021, age 69. Beloved husband of Maryann for 40 years, loving father of Heather (Erik) Peterson, Matthew (Samantha) Pedigo, Michael (Kassie) Pedigo, Greg Pedigo and Lauren Pedigo. Cherished grandfather of Inga, Helena, Paul, Martha, Jacob, Rowan, Brody, Elliott, Paxtyn and Joslin. Dear brother of Bettie (Hugh) Daly, Walter (the late Loretta) Pedigo, Henry Thomas Pedigo, Catherine (Frank) Lipson and Carolyn Coyne. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Rodger loved his family and friends (called both all the time), spending time with his genius grandchildren, working on cars, and helping people. He also has a great sense of humor. Visitation Monday, February 1, 3-8 pm at Keehn-Griffin Funeral Home, 706 W. Main St., Brighton. Funeral Tuesday, February 2, 11 am at Keehn-Griffin. Maryann, I was his nurse for a time on 4 East. (Remember when I thought you were my sister when I first saw you?) He was the only person, besides my mother, who ever said, “You are a gentleman and a scholar.” I told him my mom had passed the previous year, and when he said that phrase it brought back cherished memories. I thanked him for our fun conversations over the weekend he was my patient, and he told me he was glad to have made me smile. I am so very sorry for your loss. He was truly, a gentleman and a scholar.

I knew Rodger from our time together at FCA. I admired his experience with Diesel fuel systems, his sense of humor, and friendliness. I am so sad to hear of his passing.

Oh family, we are so heart broken for you all. Rodger was such a good friend, always there to help with our vehicles and yes, a great sense of humor. Hard working, wonderful man, incredible dad who set an example for his children. You will be in our prayers.
