Curtis Spannring Obituary

On May 10th, our son, brother, and friend, Curtis Richard Spannring, passed away. Curt was born on June 1, 1968 in Butte, MT. He was such a loving soul with an absolute pure heart. Always smiling, giggling, and there to lend a helping hand when you needed it.

Curt was a 1987 graduate of Park High School. He found passion in skiing, medaling in the alpine skiing competition at the 1985 Special Olympics in Park City, UT. He also loved camping, snowmobiling, and spending quality time with family and friends, even if it was just to be present. For those of you who knew him well, he found great joy in tossing his wig into the Yellowstone River or onto unsuspecting girls any chance he got. He was a jokester, but one with a heart of gold.

Curt was a good, kind person who will be greatly missed. He is proceeded in death by his father, Thomas Spannring, and survived by his mother Sonja Spannring, siblings Craig Spannring and Christi Shaw, his niece Sara, and two nephews Corwin and Hayden.

For friends and family in Livingston, there will be a celebration of life for Curt on May 30th between 5:00pm-8:00pm at Neptunes Taphouse & Eatery. To honor him, his family has asked for people to consider a donation to the Special Olympics in his name.
