Dolores Juarez Obituary

Dolores Viera Juarez
11/17/1939 - 11/04/2025
With deep love and profound sadness, we announce that Dolores V. Juarez, age 85, entered into the loving arms of our Lord on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Dolores was born on November 17, 1939, in Laredo, Texas, to her parents, Juan and Maria Viera and was raised in Benavides, Texas. She met the love of her life, Federico Juarez. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on love, family, and faith as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Dolores was a homemaker with a gift for cooking, and she enjoyed crossword puzzles. She served as the PTA president at Bruni Elementary in the 1980s.
Dolores welcomed everyone with an open heart. Her home was always filled with the aroma of home-cooked meals and stories that stretched late into the night. She was strong-minded and unwavering in who she was, full of spirit, determination, and a personality that could light up (or command) any room she walked into.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Federico Juarez Sr., her parents, Juan and Maria Viera, her siblings, and her daughter, Adriana Juarez.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Federico Juarez (Patricia), Mary Silva (Teodoro Silva III), Ignacio Juarez (Diana), Marcelino Juarez (Ruth), Delfina Juarez, Dolores Juarez (Jorge Macias), Victor Juarez, Fernando Juarez (Veronica) and Rosalia Juarez (Antonio Hernandez).
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jorge Jr., Andres, Adriana E., Marcelino Jr., Christian, Austin, Vanessa, Kimberly, Fernando Jr., Felicity, Ignacio Jr., Gabriel I., Teodoro, Ricardo D., Ana C., Antonio Jr, Rosalie, Nicholus, and eleven great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends who will deeply miss her.
The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, November 12, 2025 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday morning, November 13, 2025 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Ana Cristina Silva, Fernando Juarez Jr., Antonio Hernandez Jr., Austin Juarez, Christian Juarez, Ignacio Juarez Jr., Jorge Macias Jr. and Andres Macias.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Nicholus Hernandez, Rosalie Hernandez, Adriana Emilia Macias, Vanessa Ortiz, Marcelino Juarez Jr., Gabriel Ivan Silva, Teodoro Silva, Ricardo Daniel Silva, Kimberly Juarez and Felicity Juarez.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude for the many expressions of love, prayers, and support during this time.
We find comfort knowing she is now in a better place, reunited with Dad and Nana laughing, embracing, and watching over us. And one day, we'll see her again on the other side.
