Zachary C. Moen

1994 - 2024

Zachary Moen C Moen Lodi, WI - Zachary C. Moen, age 29, passed away on Sunday, November 24th. He was born on December 20, 1994, in Longview, WA, to Ann and Eric Moen. After graduating from Lodi High School in 2013, Zachary entered the trades, working in various fields from framing and painting to blacktop sealing. A true jack of all trades, he loved working with his hands. A devoted family member and friend, Zak was known for his sense of humor and kindness. He enjoyed working on cars and being with his friends. With an adventurous spirit, Zachary loved trying new things, whether it was skiing, fishing, duck hunting, swimming, seeing live music- he loved to try new things with his friends.

Zachary is survived by his parents, Ann and Eric of Lodi, siblings Janay and Alec of Lodi. He is further survived by his grandparents, JoAnn and Ken Heuring of Appleton, Reva Moen of Waupaca; and Great Aunt Linda Ellingson of Waupaca; aunts and uncles Jonas (Brenda) Moen of Temple, TX, Dana (Nadine) Moen of Chula Vista, CA, Adam Moen of Temple, TX, Katherine Ottman of Greenville, David Heuring of Madison, Jane (Paul) Zimmerman of Kaukauna, John (Tracy) Heuring of Oshkosh; and by numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his Grandfather Layner Moen of Waupaca and Uncle David Ottman of Greenville.

Zachary's legacy will live on through the memories he leaves behind and the profound impact he had on everyone who knew him. A heartfelt thank you to the Columbia county first responders and good samaritans. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Waddle Inn in Lodi on December 22nd from 12 to 4pm.
