Darrell Scott Obituary

Darrell 'Scotty' Scott - Dad and Papa; passed away peacefully on April 18th at Lodi Nursing, Lodi, California at the age of 88.
He was born April 22, 1936, in Trenton, Missouri. Darrell, son of the late Lena (Travis) and Roy Boffman, has lived in California since 1950, when he moved with his family from Missouri.
Darrell worked over 30 dedicated years as Service Manager at Geweke Ford in Lodi, CA and retired in 2001.
Darrell was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Paula Scott, his mother, Lena, his father, Roy, his brothers Ermal, Vern and Charles 'Doc', and his sisters, Christena, Ruby and Erma.
Darrell is survived by his daughter, Lisa Scott, his son, Ray Scott, his step-daughter Bonnie Setbacken, his stepson, Kevin Moody; grandchildren, Antoinette, Sarah, Teri, Lori, and Katie, several great grandchildren; brothers, Dick and Tommy; and sister Sharon 'Sis'. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was a US Army veteran who served in Germany and a member of Faith Community Church in Lodi, California, where he was very much involved with vacation bible school, and attended weekly fellowship and bible study groups.
As Darrell wished, his ashes will be scattered in the Cascade Scattering Garden at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi. There will be a Memorial at Faith Community Church, 18621 N Hwy 99 in Acampo on May 17th at noon.
