DARWIN CHRISTOPHERSON Obituary

Darwin Lloyd Christopherson was born on June 19, 1952 to Ruth and Cecil Christopherson in Huron, South Dakota and unexpectedly left this world after a short illness on Sept 16, 2025. He attended schools in Oregon, Utah, and California, graduating from Lodi High School in 1970. When we were children, Darwin always won at Blackjack, scored the best records and baseball cards and had the most comic books and Mad Magazines. He was everyone's favorite cousin.
After graduating high school Darwin enlisted in the United States Army and served for six years, from 1972 to 1978 at Fort Ord, CA, Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana and Fort Lewis, Washington as a Finance Specialist earning a medal of good conduct.
Darwin returned to Lodi where he was employed by Holtz Rubber Company for forty-four years. Darwin is survived by his sister, Cherry Christopherson and many cousins and friends. He loved sports and music and gambling because he was so good at it. We will always remember Darwin for his sharp mind, quick wit, and wry sense of humor. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
There will be a memorial in honor of Darwin's life on Thursday, October 16 at 4 p.m. at Calivines 13950 N. Thornton Rd, Lodi.

My guy, My Friend and Favorite co-worker, Darwin and I had many long conversations about sports, Life and how crazy work was everyday, and one thing I really respected about him was his pure genuine love for my family. He would always ask how my kids were doing and was always asking how my Oldest son was doing in school and even though he hardly knew my son in which he only interacted twice with, he still always wanted to know how he was doing. I recently had another daughter and he was excited for me and my family, I took a small hiatus from work to take care of my family and it was sad to return to work and finding out my Friend has passed...I was excited to tell him how everything went and show him pictures of my newborn. Rest Easy Darwin work aint the same without you buddy but know I'll be playing your favorite songs from the good Ole days, much love and respect and my condolences to his family, I thank God for allowing me to meet Darwin and letting me have great memories with him that I will forever cherish.
