Douglas Marshall Obituary

Douglas was born to Leland George Marshall and Marjorie Jean Marshall in Stockton, Ca. Since the age of two, he lived in Lodi, attending Lodi schools and graduating from Lodi High School. Following high school, he earned a degree in History from California Polytechnic State College, San Luis Obispo.
Throughout his childhood, Douglas accompanied his parents to their home state of Kansas kindling his interest in American history, genealogy, and enjoying time with his maternal grandmother, Myrtle Cagle, who was a strong influence in his life. Douglas enjoyed the geography and history of California and explored the state whenever possible.
Douglas is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his brother, Clinton Marshall (Kathleen), sister Carolyn Granados and nephews Robert, Steven, and David Granados (Eliza).
There will be no public services for Douglas, but the family is asking that his friends and acquaintance will remember him in passing as a loyal and gentle person.

I just saw this. Doug and i were in the history program at Cal Poly. There were a group of about 10 of us that grouped together and studied together. I went into the Marine Corps and Doug visited with a friend on a cross country tour while i was stationed in North Carolina.
