Glenn Fischer Obituary

Glenn Leroy Fischer, 82, of Lodi died December 27 in Stockton after a lengthy struggle with cancer. He was born November 13, 1930, in Stockton and has lived most of his life in Lodi.  He served 22 years in the US Army and retired as Sergeant 1st Class. Mr. Fischer worked for American Protective Services and Wallace Computer Services. He enjoyed bowling in leagues in Lodi/Stockton, and he enjoyed his cats, especially Bright Eyes.
 Mr. Fischer is survived by his wife of 26 years, Gertrude "Trudy" Fischer of Lodi; sons, Rory Fischer of Florida, Jeff Fischer of Arizona, David Mondavi of Colorado; step-daughters, Rita Kinnick and Birgit Rabe of the Bay Area, Sonnja Costa of Lodi and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 Military honors will be held Monday Jan. 7th at 2 pm at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd., Dixon, 707-693-2460.
 Ben Salas Funeral Home is assisting with  arrangements.
