Ila Hernandez

1939 - 2025

Ila Jean Hernandez passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24 2025 at the age of 86. Ila was born to Nellie Winton and Emil Bromic on June 26, 1939. She resided in Stockton for much of her later life. Ila retired from Tri Valley Cannery in 2001 and enjoyed camping, cooking, and family get togethers. She loved her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Her grandchildren are Lorraine Gonzales (Reyes), Brian Salazar (Hollie), and Antonio Maestretti (Jennifer). Her great grandchildren are Hunter Maesteretti (Samantha), Autume Maestretti (Caleb), Ricky Hernandez, Laura Hernandez, Aaliyah Gonzales (Sean), and Zoey Gonzales.
Ila was preceded in death by her parents Emil and Nellie, her husband Augustin Hernandez, her niece Rose and Joe Gallagoes.
She is survived by her daughters Frances Lawver (Ken) and Linda Smith (Dana, preceded). Son Tino Hernandez (Marcie)
A viewing will be held at Collins Family Funeral Home at 123 N School St., Lodi on Monday, September 8th from 3 to 7pm.
Graveside services will be at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi on Tuesday, September 9th at 11am. Followed by a Celebration of Life at The Lodi Moose Lodge at 3824 E Woodbridge Rd., Acampo from 12 to 3pm.
