Jeremy Kosel Obituary
Jeremy was born in 1974 to Calvin and Beverly Kosel and was the beloved husband of Tara Kosel of 24 years. He was the cherished father of Andrew and Ian Kosel, and adored brother of Julie Christensen. Jeremy treasured his two sons Andrew and Ian. He loved to be a part of their lives and mentoring them into becoming the young men they are today.
Jeremy met his wife Tara in high school and they enjoyed the most amazing love story marriage. He made friends easily, and he was highly regarded by his friends and colleagues for his outlook on family, work and life. Jeremy grew up in Stockton and graduated from Tokay High School and University of the Pacific.
Shortly after graduation, Jeremy was hired by Merck and relocated with family to Visalia CA. After five years, he moved back to Lodi and was fortunate enough to join St. Jude Medical. In this endeavor, Jeremy worked tirelessly for almost 15 years. Jeremy's devotion and love for his job was evident in his success and national recognition for many years where he had the opportunity to work with phenomenal colleagues. Jeremy loved to travel with his family and left many footprints across the globe. Jeremy enjoyed spending time outdoors hiking, golfing, skiing, boating and all things that involved adventure.
He was preceded in death by his father Calvin and survived by his mother Beverly, his wife Tara, sons Andrew and Ian, sister Julie Christensen (Scott and his parents Ron and Julie), nephews Erik and Owen, "adopted son" Zachary Leffler, In-Laws Dale and Maggie Breck, Sister-in-law April Foster (Dan), nephew Isaac, nieces Jasmine, Jenna and Eliana. Services to be held on Friday, March 24th at 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Lodi. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation for research into prevention and saving lives. Sincerest condolences to your family. I work at the gym he was a member of and would occasionally chat with him, almost always about family. He was just genuinely a super nice guy!! I was immediately saddened for you and your sons when I heard the news. I am praying for comfort and peace in such a difficult time. I also pray that ultimately you will be closer to God, and to each other, as you learn to live life in this new way.

Jeremy was a dear friend and colleague I've known since 2002. He is an example of a truly good human being and lived his life not just acting like a good guy but really genuinely being one! His love for Tara and his sons was never ending and he always shared such great stories with me about his family.
