John Sowers Obituary
John Isaac Sowers, better known to school friends as John, and to family as Isaac, or "Ike" left this world beloved by many family and friends. He played multiple sports growing up including baseball and football, attended Lakewood Elementary School, Millswood Middle School, and Lodi High School. He graduated early with extra credits from Liberty High School and walked with his class June 1,, 2017 a day before his 18th birthday. He had plans to attend San Joaquin Delta College in the fall of 2017. Isaac loved, hunting, fishing, playing the guitar, baseball, politics, big trucks, and spending time with his friends and family. Our lives will never be the same without our beloved Isaac. He has been a loving inspiration to his family and friends and will forever reside in each of our hearts.
He is survived by his father and mother Fernando and Jennifer (Sowers) Dias of Acampo, CA, his sister Ashlan Casalegno (Daniel and Kaleb Hogan) of Acampo, CA, his brothers Tyler and Elliott Sowers, sister Grace Sowers, his grandparents Jim and Karen Sowers of Acampo, CA, great-grandmother Virda Spurgin of Lodi, CA, his uncle and aunt Mike and Natalie (Sowers) Smalley, their three boys Camden Smalley, Coleman Smalley, and Sam Smalley of Lodi, CA, cousins Jill (Perry) Daniel, Mitchell Daniel and Ireland Daniel of Lodi, CA, along with many other cherished family members and friends.
Isaac was preceded in death by his precious young cousin Cora Jean Smalley, great-grandfather Wayne Spurgin, Uncle Tim Spurgin, and great-grandparents Claire and Arlene Sowers.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 7th at 10:00AM at Cherokee Memorial Park in the Vineyard Chapel, 831 Industrial Way, Lodi, CA with Pastor Geri Harper officiating. A celebration of Isaac's life will immediately follow the services at the home of his grandparents Jim and Karen Sowers in Acampo, CA.

What a beautiful, heartfelt service for Isaac.
The tribute and stories helped us all know who he was and how very much he was loved.
My heart ❤ is filled with sadness for his family and friends. Because he was loved so much the grief and pain is great.
