Justin Funke Obituary
He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Paul Funke, a local attorney. He also leaves his aunt Veronica Brown and his cousins; Lucas Lowery, Brendan, Neil and Caitlin Brown, and Clare, Diane, and Kevin Smith.
Justin was in the Honor Band at Lodi High School and graduated from Galt High school. He worked in information technology, but his first passion was music. Justin began his sound and disc jockey business at an early age (elementary school) and his company, Earthquake Sound, provided entertainment (weddings, parties, clubs) locally and out of state.
A memorial will be held on Friday, September 23 at 10:00am at St. Joachim Church in Lockeford.

Much love and prayers for the family at this sad time. Justin DJ'd my daughter's wedding in 2005. The very best at what he did was an understatement. I tried to find him last year for my son's wedding and could not seem to do so. What a talent you were. Play on, Justin. God Bless you.

Hearing of Justin's passing was shocking and very saddening. Justin was a student at Oak View School when I was the principal. I remember him as a highly intelligent, spirited, and clever youngster. Most of all he was just a good and nice person toward his classmates and the school staff. I grieve this loss deeply.
