Kenneth Kleinsasser Obituary
Ken was born December 17, 1943, in Chaseley, North Dakota to David C. and Anna A. Kleinsasser. In Chaseley, he married Sharon Schindler and they had their son, Jason. They moved to Lodi in 1969 where daughter Lisa was born and Kenny worked for Foster Lumber, as many North Dakota young men did. Later, Ken began truck driving and eventually became the owner/operator of K&S Trucking for over 25 years.
In 1979, he married Wanda McMillen and they moved to their little ranch in Acampo, California. Then, after many long hours and busy California byways in the truck, his dream to buy an old ranch/farm in Merrill, Oregon, came true – peaceful, beautiful, successful - working, refinishing and raising cattle on 200 acres. After a decade in Oregon, they returned to the little house on the prairie in Acampo.
Ken loved the outdoors, horse riding, camping, motorcycling, and especially playing his guitar and singing.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Wanda, of 43 years, son, Jason Kleinsasser, daughter, Lisa Baroni (Greg), stepdaughters, Rhonda Schopp and Julia Dennis (Jim) and stepson Mark McMillen. Also, surviving him are sisters Shirley Barreth, Linda Kleinsasser and Mary Ellen Dockter (Kenny), all from North Dakota, as well as nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and six nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, January 15, 2023, at The Moose Lodge, 3824 E. Woodbridge Rd., Acampo, CA 1-4pm.

SO SORRY TO HEAR OF KENS PASSING, WE GREW UP TOGATHER ON THE FARM IN NORTH DAKOTA. WE WERE COUSINS, MY DAD AND KENS DAD WERE BROTHERS. I ALLWAYS LOVED TO VISIT KEN AT OUR FAMILY REUNIONS AT BOWDON N D. WE ALLWAYS HAD A GREAT TIME SINGING AND PLAYING GUITAR, IM SURE HE IS SINGING AND PLAYING IN HAVEN WITH HIS FAMILY. MY SYMPATHY TO ALL THE FAMILY AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL , WITH LOVE COUSIN ALLEN.

Wanda & family, I´m so sorry to hear of the loss of Ken. I have so many memories growing up with Ken & Wanda. A lot of fun times camping. I´m sure my daddy was waiting in Heaven for Ken when he went through those pearly gates. Your family is in my thoughts & prayers. God Bless. -Kathy Linz
