Romano Isola Obituary
Born in Lucca, Italy, Romano moved to the United States in 1958 and built a life in the San Francisco Bay Area. He worked as a butcher for many years, including running his own shop, and was known for his skill in Italian charcuterie and his generous hospitality.
Romano met his wife Judy in 1959, and they shared over 66 years together. He loved gardening, winemaking, and hosting gatherings with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Judy; his son David (wife, Lisa), daughter-in-law Maureen Isola; and his grandchildren Ryan, Glen, Jill, and Mary. He was preceded in death by his son Michael.
A private family service will be held. Romano will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and love of life.
