Velma, Ken, and family, My heart goes out to you and your family. I was able to attend the service yesterday, but didn't have the chance to speak with you before leaving.
I just want you to know how sorry I am for your loss. Steve was a huge part of my teenage years. I have so many memories of all of us kids going to camp, running around the church, and hanging out together. Steve was my very first boyfriend and kiss. He would write me notes in church, and meet me after church to make plans for the day. He was a deep thinker, and a kind person. I've so enjoyed seeing him through the years, as he holds such a special place in my heart. Seeing all of the photos during the service took me back, and reminds me why people loved him so much. He had such a beautiful smile and warm, caring eyes.
Please know that I am thinking of you, and Larry, Myra, Gayle, Chrisie, Kenny and Tiffany. I know he was a wonderful son, brother and son.
