Warren Rudow Obituary

Warren J. Rudow passed away peacefully on December 4, 2021 at home, surrounded by his family. He is on his way to the Big Card Game in the beyond where he will be welcomed by his father, Warren, Johnnie, George, Sammy and Jerome.
Warren was born to Mary Eisenbeis and Warren Rudow, Sr. on February 14, 1934 in Ashley, North Dakota. The family settled in Lodi and he attended local schools graduating from Lodi High. Following high school, he joined the Army and was stationed in Germany.
Upon his return from the service, he married Bonnie Grimsley on August 3, 1956. They remained married until Bonnie's passing on July 25, 2019.
Warren attended San Joaquin Delta College and the McGeorge School of Law. He worked as an insurance assessor for Cal-Farm and USAA insurance companies. He retired twice. He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards, sports and was a long time SF Giants and 49er fan. His biggest joy was spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed although forever in our hearts.

He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Bonnie; and sister, Joyce Gibbons.
Funeral services will be private. Any charitable donations may be made to Lodi Memorial Hospital Foudnation, 975 S. Fairmont Ave, Lodi, CA 95240.

I worked with Warren at the Stockton District Claims Office when I began working as a Multiline Field Adjuster with CalFarm Insurance in1978. Warren was always helpful, helped me learn the ropes of being a good adjuster. I remember to this day my first Christmas Lunch with Warren, Harvey Cannon, Jerry Bunch, Jerry Wathen, Fred Denhart, Lou Dickey at Al the Whops in the Locke. The best times I have had working with co workers at a Company. Rest In Peace Friend, you are back with Bonnie in Paradise.

We were saddened to learn of the passing of our Uncle Warren. He was a loving, intelligent, larger-than-life, kid-friendly and deeply funny man. We will miss his crinkly eyes, his great laugh and the biggest bear hugs a human can bestow. And we extend our deepest sympathies to his children and grandchildren, and hope that your many fond memories will bring you peace. We are having 10 redwood trees planted in his honor in California, because one just doesn't seem enough for such a beloved person.
With Love,
Jeff, Jeanne, Jack, Julie and families
