Amy E. Mohler

1977 - 2017

Amy Elizabeth Mohler, age 39, of Logan, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, in Columbus, Ohio.
Born February 23, 1977, in Logan, Ohio, she was the daughter of Ralph Edwin "Ed" Mohler and Debra Elizabeth (Roop) Mohler of Logan.
Amy previously worked as an attendant for Logan-Hocking Schools. She loved nature and enjoyed spending time camping and fishing. Amy was a follower of the NASCAR circuit and could also be found cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes football team every Saturday. Most of all, though, she cherished the time spent with her family.
Besides her parents, Amy is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Nicole (Paul) Fraley, Emily Elizabeth (Eric Sharb) Huffines, and Laura Ann Huffines; one son, Michael Allen Hopkins; one brother, Daniel Edwin (Tiffany Chesser) Mohler; grandmother, Betty J. Mohler, all of Logan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Kevin Michael Mohler; grandparents, Betty and Chuck Roop Sr. and Ralph Edward Mohler; and cousins, Joseph Allen Roop and Benjamin Mohler.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at St. John Catholic Church, with Father William J. Ferguson officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, in Logan, Ohio.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 16, 2017, from 5-8 p.m., with a Christian Vigil Service at 7:45 p.m., at Roberts Funeral Home.
