David Diehm Obituary

David Wesley Diehm, 57, of Bellefontaine, is now with his Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven as of Friday, Jan. 28, 2022. He was born in Xenia, Ohio on Feb. 17, 1964, to the late Reverend Conrad and Pauline (Norris) Diehm.

On May 22, 2010, he married Nicki Jo (Brown) Diehm, and she survives. He is also survived by children, Andrew Diehm, Sarah Sutton and their spouses, Kate Diehm and Scott Sutton; a granddaughter, Sofia Sutton; brothers and sisters, Mary Jane Clark, Paul Diehm and his wife, Sue, Dennis Diehm and his wife, Sharon; nieces: Cindy, Kristin, and Allison; nephews: Jason, Justin, and Jonathan; many close friends; and his fur baby, Judah. He is preceded in death by a dear family friend, Charles Gilbert.

Dave received a bachelor's degree from the Ohio Northern University. He retired after 30 years of working at Honda. His love for his children was evident. He was a lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed walking in the woods, campfires, cutting down or trimming trees, and going on nice vacations. Nicki was his soulmate, and he cared for her deeply. He was always willing to fix anything for anybody. He will definitely be missed by anyone who knew him.
