Eula Hacker Obituary
Eula was born Oct. 26, 1927 in Rockbridge, Ohio to Charles Delmer Later and Grace Later. She was a member of the Advent Christian Church in Rockbridge and a member of the Order of Eastern Star of Logan. Eula loved cooking and feeding her family abundantly. She enjoyed sewing and fishing and boating; and played and taught the organ and piano.
Surviving are son Gary (Marsha) Hacker; grandchildren, Michelle Young, Matthew Hacker, Michael (Jill) Gray, and Matthew Gray (Becca Furman); great-grandchildren, Kylee Young, Conner Young, Clairissa Hacker, Erin Gray, Caleb Furman, and Ethan Furman; six great-great-grandchildren; brother Earl (Brenda) Later of Rockbridge; many nieces, nephews; and many special friends.
Eula was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Ralph R Hacker, Jr., who passed away in 2000; infant great-grandsons, Curtis Lee and Jesse Lee Young; and sister Jean Canan.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Diora Edgell officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours will be observed on Thursday, Aug. 26 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
