Jeanette White Obituary
Jeanette was born in Logan, Ohio on Feb. 17, 1948. She was a 1966 graduate of Logan High School and a 1970 graduate of Rio Grande University. Growing-up, Jeanette really enjoyed her horses and horseback riding through the Hocking Hills.
Following graduation from Rio Grande University, Jeanette taught fifth grade in Marion, Ohio and then at Sterling Elementary in Wayne County. Later, Jeanette was a substitute teacher for Wadsworth City Schools and a tutor for Wadsworth Bear Cubs.
Jeanette married John R White on June 19, 1971 at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Logan. They grew-up together, were LHS classmates, attended church together, attended prom together, and then were happily married together for 51 years. After getting married, Jeanette and John made Wadsworth their home where Jeanette was a member of the Wadsworth United Methodist Church and the Wesleyan Class.
Jeanette especially enjoyed participating in her children's school and sporting activities along with her family vacations, gardening, and her pets. She was also admired for her cooking and pie baking skills.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents William A. (Bill) and Theresa M. Lemon from Logan. She is survived by her husband, John; her son David (and Michelle) White of Kent, Ohio; her daughter Ann (and Ryan) Jacob of Fairfax Station, Virginia; and her three granddaughters, Winsome White, Madeleine Jacob and Alexandria Jacob.

Jeanette was a wonderful person. We shared 4-H memories from the horse shows, and high school. She was intelligent, elegant, and would chuckle at jokes. Sincere condolences to John and children and grandchildren.
