ADAM PETROWSKI Obituary

Adam W. Petrowski a resident of Port Chester died October 15, 2001. He was 80 and born September 9, 1921 in Shelton, CT to the late Stanley and Felicia Labedz Petrowski. He was raised and educated in Cheshire, CT. He served in United States Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He was married June 8, 1947 to Genevieve Mayder. Mr. Petrowski was a retired carpenter with local #210 in Greenwich, CT. He was a parishioner of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Port Chester and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his wife, Genevieve Petrowski of Port Chester, NY, sons, Christopher Petrowski of Waretown, NJ, and John Petrowski of Barnegat, NJ, daughter Sara Allen of Taos, NM, sisters Helen Humiston and Josephine Roberts both of Cheshire, CT, grandchildren Eli and Adam Rineck, Sarah, Lana, John, Adam and Faith Petrowski. He was predeceased by his brothers Stanley, Edwin, Paul and Raymond Petrowski and sister Stephanie Box. Visitation will be at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. on Wedensday October 17, 2001 from 4-8PM. Funeral Mass will be at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Willett Ave. Port Chester, NY on Thursday October 18, 2001 at 9:30AM. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. Memorial donations may be made to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church or the Calvary Hosptial , 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx, NY. CRAFT MEMORIAL HOME 40 Leicester St. Port Chester (914) 939-0131
