ALBERT RADKO Obituary

Albert T Radko, age 86, of Mohegan Lake, NY died Sunday, November 1st, 2009 at North Westchester Nursing Center in Mohegan Lake, NY. Born in Yonkers, NY on April 29, 1923, he was the son of John and Helen (Kovalik) Radko. Mr. Radko was a retired Railroad Tower Director for Grand Central Station and Mail Carrier for the US Post Office. He belonged to the railroad Old Timers. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and member of the VFW in Mahopac, NY. A parishioner and usher of St. Columbanus Church, he also belonged to the North Cortlandt Seniors. Mr. Radko is survived by his wife, Lorraine (Dimier) Radko, two children, Thomas Radko and wife Judy of Cape Coral FL, Elizabeth Cronin and husband John of Middletown NY, daughter in law Karren of Oklahoma City, OK, three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kelly, and Brian, and four great grandchildren, Hailee Ann, Eric, Christopher, and Mia. One son, Wayne Radko and a sister, Eileen Lieblong predeceased him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 4th, 2009 at St. Columbanus Church, 122 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY followed by a private cremation. Interment at Rose Hills Memorial Park will take place on Friday, November 6th at 2PM. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Clinton Funeral Home, 728 N. Division St., Peekskill, NY. Donations may be made in Mr. Radko's name to The American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220.
