Alberta Vasser Obituary
Alberta D. Vasser a long time Nyack resident passed away on Tuesday, she was 87 years old. Alberta was born in Townley, Alabama on October 10, 1924 to Peter and Angla Vasser. She was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church in Nyack and the Nyack Branch of the NAACP. Alberta is survived by two brothers; John and Doris Vasser of South Nyack, NY and Qudella and Floyd Vasser of Alabama. A sister Juanita Vasser of Nyack and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.
A Homegoing Service will be held on Monday at 11 AM at Pilgrim Baptist Church in Nyack. Interment will follow at the Rockland County VA Cemetery in New Hempstead, NY. Visitation will be held on Monday morning from 10 AM until 11 AM at the church.
