Amando Avancena Obituary
Amando De Paula Avancena of Nanuet, NY passed away on Tuesday Feb. 12, 2013 at the age of 61.
He was born on October 3, 1951 in Manila, Phillipines to Ramon and Rosario (De Paula) Avancena. Amando worked as a formulator for Sun Chemical Corp. and was a member of the Pagar Golf Club (USGA).
Amando is survived by his wife, Teresita Alabastro Avancena, and two sons, Ramon Avancena and Christian Avancena, his mother, Rosario De Paula Avancena, sister, Cecilia Avancena Villanueva, his nephew, Ramon Avancena Villanueva, niece, Rosario Villanueva Miranda and ex-wife, Georgina Solinap Avancena.
Friends may call Friday Feb. 15, 2013 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9 pm at Joseph W. Sorce F.H. Inc., A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday Feb. 16, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Anthony's Shrine Church, 36 West Nyack Rd., Nanuet, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Amando's name to the American Heart Association.
