DR. AMELITA ANTONIO

Dr. Amelita Aban Antonio of Scarsdale, NY, passed away on January 30, 2009 after a feisty battle with cancer. She was born on June 6, 1948 in the Philippines to the late Isabelo Aban and Corazon Baniqued, who later married Vicente Lumicao. She is survived by her husband Dr. Andres Antonio; sons Dennis, Patrick, Michael, Robert, and George; and siblings Isabelo, Solita, Lorna, Nestor, Susan, Oscar, and Clarissa. Amy practiced internal medicine and later worked alongside her husband in his practice. She was a member of her medical school alumni association, enjoyed traveling and playing piano. She will be missed and remembered for her devotion to her husband, love for her family, selflessness, and commitment to her faith. The family will receive friends this Thursday and Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Westchester Funeral Home.
