ANGELA LORE

Angela Lore, of Mamaroneck, died March 16, 2004 at age 78. Born October 26, 1925 in Furci, Sicily to Salvatore and Josephine (Caminiti) Garufi. For over 25 years, Angela was the switchboard operator at the Scarsdale School System where she continued to stay active until most recent. She was a devoted parishioner and a choir member at the Church of St. Vito's. She also enjoyed traveling and being active with the Mamaroneck Seniors. Survived by sons James (wife Iris) Lore and George (Linda) Lore; grandchildren Naomi, Samuel, Joshua Michael and Ameila Jessica; and siblings Santo Garufi (wife Marie), Millie Moraca (husband Rocky), Adolpho Garufi, Tish Cunningham (husband Frank) and Sal Garufi, Jr. (wife Lucille). Predeceased by her husband Fred Lore in 1952. Visitation Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at COXE AND GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd. in Mamaroneck (914) 698-5968. Funeral Mass Monday 10 AM at St. Vito's Church followed by an Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in New Rochelle.
