ANN STAHLIN Obituary

Ann M. Stahlin, 91, a lifelong White Plains resident, passed away on September 1, 2010. Born on June 6, 1919 to Anna (Czintula) & Percival Brownie. Ann married Charles R. Stahlin on October 20, 1947. She worked as a medical billing clerk in St. Agnes Hospital for 25 years. She was an avid baker and reader especially History, and also had a knack for handicrafts. Her joy was spending time with children and watching her grandchildren play sports. Her family always came first. Ann was a member of the Elmsford Seniors, a volunteer at the George Washington Elementary School and a volunteer in the office of the White Plains Presbyterian Church where she was also a member. Survived by her three children: Lynette Stahlin Rubillard of Boca Raton, Fl, Lanice Stahlin Sputo (Dom) of White Plains, NY, James Stahlin of Anthem, AZ and four grandchildren; Lauren Anne & Danielle Sputo and Robert Charles & James Alexander Rubillard. She was predeceased by her husband Charles in 1974, her son Charles Jr. in 1980 and six siblings. Visitation will be Friday 5 to 9 PM. Funeral mass will be Saturday 10AM at White Plains Presbyterian Church with interment to follow at White Plains Rural Cemetery.
