ANTHONY TURCO Obituary

Anthony J. Turco of Cortlandt Manor died April 5 after a long illness. He was 73. Anthony was born in Dobbs Ferry on October 13, 1935, the son of James and Rose Amicucci Turco. He spent eight years in the Naval Sea Bees Reserve. He married Ann P. Hayes on October 30, 1955, and together they raised three childre n. Anthony spent many years as the Town of Cortlandt Building In spector before retiring October 29, 1997. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ann, and his children James of upstate, NY, Thomas (Donna) Turco of Mid dletown, and Lorraine (David) Tauber of Hastings, and sister Connie Connell. He also leaves nine grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Lynnette, Kevin, Valerie, Nicholas, Catina, Nicole and Dylan, and great grandchil dren Lance and Marissa. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 8th from 7-9 p.m., and Thursday April 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home in Mon trose. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 10 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Memorial SloanKettering Cancer Center, or the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME 170 Kings Ferry Rd.
