ARDUINA PIRROTTA Obituary

Arduina Sposta Pirrotta, a resident of Port Chester, passed away on June 4, 2007. She was born on September 26, 1952 in Port Chester, NY to the late Emma Meglio Sposta and Andrew N. Sposta. A graduate of Port Chester High School, Class of 1970, she worked for many years at Congregation KTI in Port Chester, NY and for the airport operations manager at the Westchester County Airport. On June 12, 1994 she marred her beloved husband, Joseph A. Pirrotta. He passed away on September 23, 2005. Also known as Dee, she was an amateur radio operator with the call sign of KB2RBN, and was a member of the QSY Radio Club and a past member of WECA. Dee also loved to spend time with all her family, especially her nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Dee returned to Port Chester in 2005, after her husband Joe passed away, to live with her brother Angelo and his family. Dee leaves behind her brother, Angelo J. Sposta (Kathleen) of Port Chester, NY, her sister Margaret Duesenbury (Tony) also of Port Chester, three nephews, Anthony Duesnbury Jr., Angelo Sposta, Jr. and Andrew Sposta, three nieces, Jennifer Scheedel, Moira Jones and Lisa Emma Dusenbury, two stepsons, Daniel Pirrotta of Nantucket, MA and Joseph Pirrotta of Greenwich, CT, four granddaughters, Courtney, Halley, Rachael and Alexa, and one grandson, Joseph Pirrotta III. Also survived by her beloved aunt and uncle, Gloria and Vito Barbara of Port Chester, caring and loving cousins, especially, Marie and Romano Conti of Brewster, and the Barbara family.
