Marvin Bumgarner Obituary
Marvin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry Ray Bumgarner, Jimmy Charles Coffey and Janet Polk Coffey. He is survived by his wife, Casie Bumgarner; sons, Cohlin Bumgarner, Evan Tucker and Reece Tucker; Cohlin's mother, Lindsay Tilley; grandparents, Helen "Nanny" Bumgarner, and Jasper and Dixie Forbes; parents, Marvin (Kim) Bumgarner Sr and Penelope (Jimmy) Hunt; brothers, Justin Bumgarner and Corey Hunt; sisters, Hailey (Andrew) Deese and Hollie (Marshall) Cooley; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18 at 2:30pm at Durham Memorial Baptist Church; Dr. David Turner, Reverend Gene Boatwright and Reverend Phil Thomas to officiate. A visitation will begin an hour prior at 1:30pm. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the benevolent fund for the future care of Marvin's children, established and maintained by Marvin Bumgarner Sr. Offer condolences through forestlawnwest.com

My Deepest sympathy To The Bumgarner & Hunt Family No words said can heal the hurt & loss; But in Gods time he will mend the broken Heart Bubba is no longer with us but He now rest with all our Love one's in Heaven with Jesus we will see Bubba again when the Lord Jesus Christ calls us home so don't be sad a little while longer.

Well little brother, I suppose this is where we part ways...I. Never n a million years thought it would go down like this... I don't understand why u of all people would be taken from us so prematurely... there's so many things . I didn't get to tell u... I don't reckon I'll ever get the chance now... it jus doesn't seem real... I keep hoping I'm gonna wake up and you'll still b here... u helped me through some of my darkest days, and showed me an undying loyalty when nobody else was there... u selflessly rode it out w/me w/o any expectations... for that I'm eternally grateful... that was worth more to me than any material possessions could ever begin to compare to ... what u didn't know at the time, is by u doing that, u gained the same unconditional loyalty from me...as well as a brother that would drive a gas truck through the firey gates of hell if u needed me to. No questions asked. I only hope i was able to show u that... bubba i love u little brother we'll meet again one day, don't b getting trouble ... at least wait until i get there... love u buddy

A wise person once said tomorrow isn't promised, so live your life fruitful and be blessed! Bubba did just that, he lived a life that was full of love, affection and admiration. For those who knew him, Bubba was a friend, but to me he was my first nephew who I will always love and remember. On earth, tomorrow may not be promised, but in heaven tomorrow is forever present. I extend my deepest condolences to the families of Marvin "Bubba" Bumgarner Jr. Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing him personally, I have known Casie since she was a little girl and friends with my daughter. I have enjoyed Facebook posts from Casie that have clearly shown the love and affection that Bubba had for her and their boys. This is a huge loss for you all and I hope the memories of the precious time you had with him will ease your suffering in the days to come.
