MARION L. HEIMLICH

Marion L. Heimlich of Rye, NY died on Sunday February 25, 2001 at the age of 88. Originally from San Diego, CA, she received a Masters Degree in Archeology from the University of Nebraska and did graduate work at the University of Chicago and at Columbia University. She worked as a researcher for Fortune Magazine for 14 years, coming to Rye in 1957. Marion was active in the Rye Historical Society, the Visiting Nurse Association and the Rye Presbyterian Church. At the time of her death she resided in the Osborn Home in Rye. Marion is survived by her loving daughter Susan Heimlich of Rye and was predeceased by her beloved husband Oscar Heimlich. Funeral Services are at the Rye Presbyterian Church, 882 Boston Post Road, Rye on Friday March 2, 2001 at 10:30AM.
