Art Rittenberg was the most humane, intelligent and well-liked text-book publishing sales manager I ever had the pleasure of working with in the 1960's at Prentice-Hall College Division. Glad he hung in at P-H for 35 years! I sure hope Art hit the $million retirement package. He surely deserved it by mentoring many of us neophytes! He helped get my promotion to Editor.
