Audrey LaCava Obituary
New Rochelle - Audrey LaCava, daughter of the late Arlene and Samuel Berger, passed after 92 years of a life well lived. Audrey was a devoted and loving wife to Carmine, Mother to Dale (Nancy) and Michael (Susan), generous grandmother to Justin, Ryan, Jordey, Evan and Emily, and great grandmother to Rocco and Lilianna. Audrey worked most of her early life in the garment center as a bookkeeper for several companies. As a young woman Audrey met and fell in love with Carmine; they truly adored each other for 66 years. Together they raised 2 sons and traveled the world to experience some of the greatest countries and finest foods available. While summers were spent with family in Wildwood, New Jersey; Audrey also enjoyed winters with friends in Canada and Florida. Audrey's favorite pastime was taking her family to restaurants for great food, funny stories and creating splendid memories; while ensuring all were well fed. Audrey cherished time spent with her grandchildren, and was a positive influence to all. She led by example and taught many valuable life lessons. Audrey always had a caring, loving, genuine nature and will be greatly missed by all.

Audrey and I have been friends for a very long time. I was her neighbor and was always there for her and a phone call away. She will be missed.
Carl has welcomed her home and they are together forever.
I will continue to think about her and smile.
