Bonifacio Brillantes Obituary
AGE: 79 • Orangeburg
Bonifacio (Pat) B. Brillantes, Jr., age 79, passed away on June 3, 2016. Born in Manila, Philippines, he graduated from Mapua Institute of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. On June 22, 1963, he and Farida Beluang were married; together they immigrated to the United States and raised their family in Orangeburg, NY. Pat obtained his Professional Engineering License in 1981, and practiced as an Environmental Engineering Consultant until his retirement. Pat is survived by his wife, Farida, his four children, Irene, Patrick, Anne-Marie, and Bonifacio III (Don), and four grandchildren, Emily, Adrian, Olivia, and Elizabeth. He is also survived by two of three sisters, Milagros and Lourdes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to PhilDev.org, 3000 Sand Hill Road, Bldg. 3, Suite 240, Menlo Park CA 94025. Services will be held at Hannemann Funeral Home in Nyack, NY on Tuesday, June 7 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Catherine's Church in Blauvelt, NY on Wednesday, June 8 at 11am.
