BRENDAN DEANE Obituary

Brendan Daniel Deane a resident of New Rochelle for the past 40 years, died on October 9, 2000. He was 65. Mr. Deane was born on September 18, 1935 in Ireland to the late John and Kathleen (Maher) Deane. He resided in England where he graduated from Prince of Wales Maritime Academy. He emigrated to the United States in 1958 and served in the US Army from 1958 to 1960. He sailed around the World many times while with the British Merchant Fleet and often regaled his 12 nephews and five nieces with accounts of his adventures. Mr. Deane was a Sales Representative with Pepsico until his retirement in 1995. He was a parishioner at Blessed Sacrement Church. Mr. Deane is survived by three sisters Kathleen Maher, Olive McCarthy and Maureen Doherty, and a sister in law Valerie Deane, all of New Rochelle and a brother and sister in law in England, Jack and Joan Deane. He was predeceased by a brother Kevin Deane of New Rochelle. Visiting will be Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday at 10:30 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church.
