Brendan Tumulty Obituary
Brendan Tumulty, 78 of Pearl River, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 13, 2014, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Brendan was born in Castlerea County Roscommon, but moved to Wicklow Town at a very young age.
He was a member of the United States Armed Forces (National Guard), a former Detective in the NYPD Manhattan North Division, an all star Gaelic Footballer with New York and top class soccer player as well as being a founding member of the Celtic Golf Club.
He is survived by his loving children, Deirdre and Brendan and his son-in-law Michael and daughter-in-law Karen. He is also survived by his brother Ray in Ireland; his 5 adoring grandchildren, Finn, Emmet, Declan, Kate and BJ and his loving in-laws the McArdles and Tumultys. He is predeceased by his wife Margaret and brother Roy in Ireland.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart R. C. Church, Kings Highway, Tappan, NY. Burial will follow at Cemetery of the Ascension, Airmont, NY. Visiting is Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.

Mr. Tumulty ...I am heartbroken.Thank you so much for being a great guy in my life. You always made me smile in person or on the phone. We had good times: parties..Neil Diamond concert ..Ireland and more. I really have a ton of amazing memories...Heaven is so lucky to have you ...love lisa xoxoxo
