Carol Cameron Obituary
Piermont, NY - Carol M. Cameron, of Piermont, NY passed away with her family by her side on October 14, 2021 at the age of 66 years. She was born to Wilbur and Margaret Cameron on April 25, 1955. Carol attended Bauder Fashion College in Miami, FL, and graduated from the F.I.T in NYC. She worked 41 years as a bookkeeper and coupon coordinator for Waldbaums / A&P. Carol was a longtime member of the Piermont Community Garden. She served on the Piermont Village Park Commission planting the parks for 20 years. She also helped begin the butterfly and border gardens in Parelli Park. She was a multi-talented woman who was very involved in her community. Those who knew Carol, knew how generous she was with her time, knowledge and resources for all of her friends, family and those in need. She was a true animal lover and loved her cats very much. When she wasn't tending to her garden you could find her working around her house, or taking her daily walks through town. Carol is survived by her mother Margaret Cameron, brother Robert Cameron, nephew William Cameron (Christine), great niece Eleanor Cameron, aunts, uncles and cousins. Carol has touched so many lives in unthinkable ways and has left a mark on everyone's heart. She and her beautiful smile will be so deeply missed. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 20th, 11am at Moritz Funeral Home, 98 Route 303, Tappan, NY. Burial to follow at Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill, NY. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 19th, 5-7pm at the funeral home.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Carol's family over the loss of a lovely, hard working woman and genuinely nice human being. She always had a smile and kind words about her family, her furry friends and neighbors. She loved life and we had the pleasure to see her over the years when she visited So. Florida.
