CAROLINE CAPUTO Obituary

In praise and honor of Caroline Caputo - January 2, 1916 to June 2, 2009. Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She was the devoted mother of 14 children. Susan, Vinny and Aida, Ralphie and Vivian, Johnny and Genie, CarolAnne and Johnny, MaryAnne and Ralph, Linda and Tommy, Regina and Anthony, Florence, Lorraine and Fred, Annette and Danny, Richie and Angie, Tina and Pete and Anthony and Carmela. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren, which makes a total of 76. She was predeceased by her husband, Amerigo John Caputo in 1989 and her daughter Susan Rao in 1992. She was the most gracious, tolerant and sweetest person we were all blessed to know. Caroline was smart and loved and honored by many people and will be missed tremendously for being such a woman of integrity and love. Visitation Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd Mamaroneck, 914-698-5968. Funeral Mass Saturday 9:30am Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bronx, NY, followed by interment at St. Raymond's Cemetery.
