CAROLINE COTTE Obituary

Caroline Cotte a longtime resident of Rye, NY and a former resident of Port Chester died July 16, 2000. She was 88 years old and born October 19, 1911 in New Rochelle to the late Anthony and Pauline Martinetti Zirpolo. She was raised and educated in Harrison. She was married to the late Raphael Cotte who died in 1956. Mrs. Cotte was a dietary worker at the New York United Hospital Medical Center in Port Chester for 15 years until her retirement in 1976. After her retirement she was a active volunteer at the Hospital. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Resurrection in Rye, NY a member of the Port Chester Senior Citizens Program at Don Bosco. Mrs. Cotte was an avid walker recognized by many. She is survived by her son, John R. Cotte of Port Chester, two daughters Jeanette C. Bucci of Port Chester and Rosemary C, Forsberg of Rye, two sisters Angelina Gaita of Hollywood, FL, and Josephine Bisbano of Harrison, NY 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her daughter Pauline Barrese and three sistes, Theresa Roberto Formica, Jennie Cammarota, and Louise Don. Visitation will be at Craft Memorial Home Inc, Wednesday July 20 from 5-9 PM. Funeral Mass will be at Church of the Resurrection Boston Post Rd, Rye, NY on Thursday July 21 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. In lieu of flowers kindly make a donation to United Hospital in memory of Caroline Cotte 406 Boston Post Rd. Port Chester, NY 10573.
