Each of us should ponder, while we are yet able, that God ordained two lives or two deaths to mankind. For it is purely by His great design and foreknowledge that He has given us life at all.

To some, God has baptized with faith in His Son to live a second life with Him in heaven forever. The rest must endure the second death.

May each of us remember those who have gone before us, cherishing the love we have shared in this life.

Be comforted in the hope that God chose our loved ones to live with Him now and forevermore.

Peace in Christ Jesus, Our Lord

Ann,
My heartfelt sympathy to you and family on your father's passing. What a shock; I can't believe.
Chuck was a wonderful friend to me and to all of us in Toxicology. I will miss his friendly and pleasant manners. I wish I hadn't put off giving him a call to get together over coffee, or lunch somewhere, something I had in my mind for a long time.

I am out of town and I am sorry I won't be able to attend the service.

My dearest Ann and Amalia, While I am truly heartbroken to hear of Uncle Charlie's passing, you know where my heart is, and how I feel for you now, having lost my father earlier this year, and my mother just a year before that. While we all know it is God's will that he takes us when he does, at a time of his own choosing, we take comfort in the fact that our loved ones are now without pain, without infirmity, and with the family members they so loved while here on earth, and sit now with the Lord and his Son, Jesus Christ. The grief we feel is real, and renders us weak, but know in your heart that Uncle Charlie and Aunt Edwyna are looking down now, and are SO VERY proud of you, and your beautiful daughter, and your brother Chuck. Some day we will join them, and it will be OUR turn to rejoice in the Lord's presence with all of our departed family members. Know that Lani and I both care for you deeply, and we know intimately what you are going through now. I love you cousin...

Ann, Chuck, and Amalia- So sorry to hear about the loss of my favorite Uncle! Marsha told me that you had called. I am also sorry that I won't be able to make his service. Please know that he will be forever in my heart! Looks like Aunt La Vonne is the last one of their 'generation'. Please call me at 618-462-7864 if there is something that I can do for you.
